Jan. 19, 2022: The NCAA Board of Governors adopts a sport-by-sport approach to transgender participation, which calls for transgender participation to be determined by the policy for the national governing body of each sport. If there is no national governing body policy for a sport, that sport’s international federation policy would be followed.
