On Dec. 13, 19911991  Boston’s Robert Parish became the fifth player in NBA history to appear in 1,200 career games (joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Elvin Hayes, John Havlicek and Paul Silas) during the Celtics’ 117-97 win over Seattle at Boston Garden.
